Ameerul Momineen, Ali ibne Abi Talib (a.s.) said: I went to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) and I saw Abu Bakr and Umar with him. (The Prophet was sitting with Ayesha). I went and sat between the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) and Ayesha.
Ayesha said to me – Did you not find any room anywhere else except between the Prophet and me?
The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said: Shut up! O Ayesha! Do not hurt me by hurting Ali! He is my brother in this life and he is my brother in the Hereafter. Ali is the Commander of the Believers. On the Day of Judgement, Allah will place AIi on Serat and Ali will take his followers to Paradise and his enemies to Hell.
