Salman (r.a.): We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) when Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.) entered. The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) gave Ali (a.s.) a small stone.

When Ali (a.s.) held the stone in his palm, the stone said: There is no god but Allah and Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) is the Messenger of Allah. I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, with Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) as a Prophet, and with Ali as a Wali.

Then the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said: Those of you who are pleased with Allah as your Lord and with the Wilayat of Ali b. Abi Talib (a.s.) are safe from Allah’s punishment.
