Samarah narrates: Every morning the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) would come to his companions and ask – Has anyone had a dream?

One morning the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) came and said: I saw Hamza, my uncle, and Jafar, my cousin, in my dream. They were sitting and eating from a dish of figs that they had in front of them. The figs changed to dates and they continued eating. So I asked them what they found was the best thing to do to prepare for the hereafter. They said prayers (salaat), love for Ali b. Abi Talib and giving charity secretly.
