Imam Ali b. Moosa al-Reza (a.s.) while describing the status of the Imam said – Engaging in holy wars is under the leadership of the Imam. The booties gained without any bloodshed and charities are blessed by the Imam. The divine doctrinal provisions and the punishments are put into practice by the Imam and the borders are safeguarded by him.
