• Saudi Arabia sets up new industrial city in Taif

    JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia has set up a new industrial city in Taif in a move to boost the process of industrialisation and to cope up with the growing demand for industrial lands across the country, according to Tawfig Fawzan Alrabiah, director-general of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon). He said in Riyadh that the new industrial city covers an area of 11 million square metres with all necessary facilities.

Yemen president says ‘no’ to war with Shia Muslims

Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Sunday he did not want another war with Shiite in northern Yemen, after a week of clashes reportedly killed at least 70 people.
