Khobar Shiites in meeting with king Abdullah demand sealed mosques opening

KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia: A representative delegation of Shiite Muslims in Al-Khobar city held a meeting this week with Saudi king Abdullah in wake of closure of Shiite mosques in the city at the hands of authorities. Renowned cleric Sayed Muhammad Baqer An-Nasser, Sayed Adnan Ash-Shakhs and Sayed Aqeel Al-Haji were among the delegation that met the king in his palace in Taif presenting him a file containing the hot issue of mosques shutting. The monarch threw banquet in honour of the guests.
